The Motter Resource Center is the perfect place to refresh
your spirit and renew yourself! This
year round, newly remodeled, air conditioned facility
is privately funded through the generosity of the Motter family and other American Baptist
donors. Its mission is to provide a place of respite and relaxation for
those in Christian ministry and mission work at little or no cost to our
guests. The Motter Resource Center
features 2 private bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths with a separate shower.
Each bedroom accommodates 2 guests comfortably. In the large
gathering/living room there is a computer workstation with internet
access, a small resource library and a comfortable seating area. In
addition, there is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and
toaster for the convenience of our guests.
After a peaceful
night of rest and relaxation, the
beautiful campus of Canonicus stretches out before you to explore. There are
miles of attractive trails and quiet spots for contemplation. With over 300 acres and a 20
acre lake, our grounds are an ideal way to
refresh yourself ~ both spiritually and physically
